Might not be my favorite but I have to list it. The Final Season. A great baseball movie. Plus it is about my cousin who by the way has the same name as me. It's funny how many people tell me I am too young to have been a baseball coach in the 70's and 80's.

    No particular order:

Tombstone (ok, this is definitely #1 for me)
    A River Runs Through It
    Legends of the Fall
    Braveheart
    Boondock Saints
Assassination of Jesse James (I can't believe it's on here, but something about this movie really intrigued me)
    Top Gun
    Shawshank Redemption

    Comedy:
    Happy Gilmore
    Dumb and Dumber
    Role Models
    4 Christmas's
    Maverick (Newer One)...great western comedy

Pure action and no real plot:
    Live Free or Die Hard

Gladiator dude. I saw this movie like 6 or 7 times in the theater.. I just knew the television would never do it justice.

    It still hasn't.

"Are you not entertained!?".. Love that line.

When you get done with that I have Return To Lonesome dove and Streets of Loredo, return is continued life after the ending of lonesome dove, almost as good as Lonesome Dove, Streets of Loredo is about Call and McCrae back when they were rangers, its a good one but doenst hold a candle to the original Lonesome Dove. But you have to watch them. I will bring em to ya.

Actually, Streets of Laredo is the last movie in the franchise. Set sometime after after Call returned Gus's body to Texas. Your thinking of Comanche Moon, or Dead Man's Walk...both when Call and Gus were rangers.

And these are actually mini-series, not movies ;)
