Not sure if this is everywhere or not, but just found AA on sale for $11.97 an 8 pack. Normally $16.48.
Just got 40 for $38 last week off ebay. Only planning on using them in my wireless cams. I use rechargeables in everything else. Blessings.........Pastorjim Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
I just cant get myself to pull the trigger on lithiums. I have used them a few times and just am not a fan. I don't like that they go from 100% to dead with little to no warning. Had them die a day or two after checking a camera that had 100% battery and it sat for 14 days not taking pictures. Plus powering up 25 cameras is way too big of a one time hit for me. My better cams are the ones that stay out most of the year and I only have to change alkaline batteries maybe 2-3 times so I still come in under lithium cost. Just my 2 cents.
I know In extreme cold you get much longer life out of lithiums instead of regular alkaline batteries. That's the only time I spend the extra money on them.
I've used a little of everything over the years. I mostly use rechargeable's. They have saved me a small fortune over the years. The only cameras that I will use the Lithium's in are cameras that only take 4 batteries. No chance I'm putting 12 at a time in my Coverts. That's one of the things that intrigued me about these new Radix trail cams.
That is one of the big reasons I like Radix. I ran Lithiums in my Reconyx and Coverts...I hated it, but I did it. putting 12, or even 8 batteries in 30 cameras is a lot of $$$. My estimated yearly battery savings is a major plus to me. I can outfit 3 Radix cams with Lithiums for what it cost me to fill one Reconyx.
Lithiums are not worth it IMO. I bought a 72 rayovacs for $16... I've noticed no difference. You can get 100 for $21. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If You have not noticed a difference using Lithiums in MN you must have some special alkaline batteries in winter months cause lithiums will out do any alkaline in the winter months.....especially if you use ultimate series lithiums. During the warm season you won't notice the difference as much. But then it appears your a Viking fan so we should be at the opposite end of the spectrum.
