Personally I am for freedom and less regulations. Responsibility on the other hand is an obligation. The Pace: 65 MPH The Norm: 70-75 MPH Pothead: 30 MPH...
Stiffer enforcement along with education will lesten the effects, however, they will always be aroind because there will always be a demand. That doesn't mean it should be legal. The stuff is bad for society, not just the individual. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk
I was going to mention that but had to do some work. It was part of the reason I quit back in 96. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk
One would think, as I did the first time we went out for drinks. But it happened every time. Flushed cheeks, the eyes, slurred speech. It was a legitimate drunk. My point being tolerances are built up over time to any drug, alcohol included.
I can when it affects society as a whole. Drug use does that. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk
People don't rob and murder for a big Mack. Nor do they become a drain on society in general. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk
I would argue that obese people are a huge drain on society. And would people continue robbing and murdering people if drugs were legal? They stopped once alcohol became legal...
Fast food would be a choice. Taxes are collected from the legal business conducted. Jobs are created allowing for purchasing power as well as paying the bills and getting shoes for the kids.
Crime? Agreed. Drain on society? Taken a look at your healthcare costs lately? Diabetes is on such a rise that an African American child born on or after 2010 has a 50% chance of developing it over his/her lifetime. And that is only one of dozens of disease states costing us billions directly linked to obesity/poor lifestyles.
A lot of the time your posts are thought provoking and thought out - this one is not. I never heard of anyone getting their head chopped off for losing a #4 value meal, or selling their body to feed their addiction to McNuggets. I see both of those things every day related to drugs.
And now we go and give the government more power over insurance. This is an educational issue as well. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk
