I quit putting out corn at this property halfway through the season due to the amount of raccoon's and turkeys, tried it once more and this is what showed up; pretty decent for NC but our season ends in two days, the first :(

I am hunting on Friday! Season ends too early here. Just heard it has not been below 34 degrees at anytime here all month!

Yeah, next year they're going to be awesome but I can't lie, if I saw 2/3 tomorrow, they would most def catch an arrow. It's stuff like this that keeps us coming back.

Have you thought any about the Urban Archery season? Starts back up in a couple weeks and we're FINALLY getting some cooler weather.

Knocking on doors is the best place to start. (If you know who owns the land.)
A big warm smile (not wearing camo) and all of the ______________ (insert favorite niceness word) you can muster.
If they say no, thank them very much for their time and move on.
And when you get permission, be sure to take time to go back after the season and sat thank you.

Makes sense. I thought you were talking more in terms of those that own/run businesses.

Great looking bucks Phil. I stopped putting corn out just before the rut as well. I wish they would let our bow season go to the end of Jan. I'll keep dreaming :)
