I'll listen to his music. And, he's probably smarter than 90% give him credit for being.

My sarcasm meter is usually quite in tune, but I can't peg some of these responses:poke:

I'm not a fan of rap, really. Talent-wise, I definitely think he has set himself apart from the mainstream, but man, he has some ANGRY lyrics.

He actually raps about life instead of shooting people and dealing crack. I listen to him a lot.

Like everyone else, I like his stuff. He's really shown a more mature side on his new album. I like the fact that he just doesn't care what anyone thinks as well. He's got some great talent

I listen to a wide variety of musci but I just cannot stand to listen to Eminem anymore....people put him up on a pedestal like we really care that Eminem is maturing...WELL good for him! But....I just don't care.

Eminem has recently become one of my favorite artists... So much so that I myself thought of making a thread... But then I stopped myself and said "A thread about eminem to a bunch of old middle aged bowhunting guys?" LOL!

I really love his music, it's so strong...

Now I will say I hate some of his older stuff... i.e. "The real Slim Shady", but his "Life" based songs are awesome.... I'm glad you had the stones to post it Caleb... 'cuz I thought I would get crucified. :D I have him in my truck right now...

    My favorite new one

I am not a hater, I just do not care for Eminem as a person really...rapping about killing his ex-wife and all that stuff just turned me off to him, and his music. Now he is addicted to drugs and somehow we are supposed to feel for him or are a part of him through his "struggles"..come on.

Yes, he does fantasize about killing his ex-wife but hes off the pipe/coke/pills/etc now. Thats gotta count for something. :)

AND there aren't any violent lyrics on his new album. You should buy it and support him.

I'm not a big Eminem fan... and I actually like rap. He could have honestly been one of the best rappers of all time, but instead of creating some lyrics with meaning, he spent most of his career making white trash rap. He is growing as a rapper which is good, but he still has a long ways to go to really get my support. When he starts making rap that moves people instead of just catchy beats... he will gain more respect.
