Anyone ever hunted with Elkhorn outfitters out of North Dakota? I have a friend that has been going for many years and I am thinking if going with him next year. Has anyone had any experience here?

I did a search and couldn't find a elkhorn outfitter in ND. What part of the state are they in? What will you be hunting?
The reason I ask is there is a lot of public ground in ND, I cant really see a reason to use a outfitter.
I've been duck hunting in ND for 13 years and am pretty familiar with the central part of the state. I will help you set up a hunt anyway I can if it keeps you from using an outfitter.

Mule deer bow hunt. I'm not really sure how the whole thing works. I know when my friend goes they don't use a guide or anything. Type Elkhorn outfitters in google and it should come up.

I looked up that area on my map....thousands and thousands and thousands of acres of public ground in that area.
Hmmm, I may have to look into doing something there myself. Thanks man!

Looks cool, but as said earlier, TONS of public land in ND. The early season opening is definitely a plus!
