I assume you mean "scents". I have used cow elk urine scent on a limited basis but don't really mess with scents when elk hunting. If you are talking about elk sense...keep the wind in your favor and pay close attention to the thermals when hunting. You can't catch up to moving elk regardless of how good of shape you're in. Plan ahead to be ahead of them. Good luck.
