How about you, do you elk hunt? if you in the woods and you here the sound of a bull elk go off you'll know just how frightning of a sound it really is. your hair on your neck will brush against your collar. you'll just about wet youself is he sneeks in and does his scream behind you. there are times you search for hours , or even days but don't see anything but fresh tracks & signs. then out of he dark comes a herd. with satalite bulls screaming, cows mewing caves talking, and you say to your self, (holy crap) this is the coolest thing. i think that these memories in the field are what keeps me going back year after year. I fell into this trap 18 years ago and like the love of my life( my wife )whom i have now been maried to for 34 years . I keep going after the fruit. It will not end for me untel I cease to exist, or that's my goal. I recently introduced some kids to this experience. one i know for sure got hit real hard like myself, and another on its come do to monitary thing, if the $ there or not. for me its just how soon do I leave and are we there yet? good luck Do you guys or galls carry elk decoys while you in the field?
