My Little Five year old grandson wanted to go elk hunting. So this morning me and my grandson and son-in-law went up the Canyon. My son-in-law has a deer tag also. We saw a little two point buck and tried to put the sneak on it. With a five year old you can imagine how that went. The fun thing was I let out a location bugle and we had two bulls answer back. So we went after the closes one the best we could with little 5 year old legs. It was fun to watch my grandson and answer all the little questions he had. Tomorrow one of my little grand daughters is coming up to elk camp. So we should have all sorts of fun.
Sounds like a great time. Good to see your getting the younger generations involved. My two hunts with my son so far have been some of my best memories.
I don't plan on experiencing that joy for at least 15 years. If it happens before that, I will have to beat my daughters first.
Thanks everyone. I always tease my boys (I have four of them) that the reason I took them hunting at an early age was when I got older I would have someone to pack my elk out. When I take my grand-kids fishing or hunting it is always the simple things that they notice or ask questions about. It makes me realize its the simple things that brings joy to us.
Very cool! Enjoy making the memories. I'm sure your sons can thank you for their own experiences as well. It's nice read a thread like this. Keep us posted.
In future I expect that my little son will appreciate and love my hobby. It’s really important for me. I would like to have memories from our first hunting, ever have found http://www.atncorp.com/smart-hd-gun-camera for these events. I hope my wife will not mind and will support me.
