Even though you already ordered... I love the Kifaru packs/frames and have read enough bad reviews on the Kuiu packs to stay away. It's an investment but if you plan on going the rest of your life I would definitely consider it. I have the Bikini frame and highcamp bag from kifaru. Went into the hunt carrying 30-35 lbs and trained with a 70lbs.

Haha, yeah I should have read the whole thread. I really like the Traverse X that I ordered. I haven't used it in the field yet, but I was happy with the build quality and design of the pack. I thought hard about ordering the commander X too, but I just didn't think I would need it. I can't foresee me doing any real deep country pack in trips in the near future. I love the look of it though.

Thanks for telling about that 50% code! Got my pack in the mail today and went through it all and so far I like it. My 3 year old wanted to get in it because it was so big as she put it. With 30 pounds on my back plus the weight of the pack I barely noticed it on. Will start hiking with weight soon! It came with a rain cover and a bow/gun boot. Wish it opened like the Kuiu, it has a horseshoe zipper. This one is just a top load but I'll live without that feature. Waist belt and shoulder straps feel very comfortable.
