I heard it's just for September with tomorrow the last day but wouldn't hurt to call the company and ask.

I hate impulse buying lol. Especially without having handled it. I may pull the trigger and if I don't like it I'm sure I can easily recoup my money.

with the benefit of seeing the pursuit, that'd be my option. if you do go with it, I'd appreciate hearing how it works for you.

Will do for sure! There aren't any reviews on this pack which sucks. I'll let you know what I decide!

Well I went ahead and order the commander x + pack. For $164.99 I couldn't pass it up!

Even though you already ordered... I love the Kifaru packs/frames and have read enough bad reviews on the Kuiu packs to stay away.

It's an investment but if you plan on going the rest of your life I would definitely consider it.

I have the Bikini frame and highcamp bag from kifaru. Went into the hunt carrying 30-35 lbs and trained with a 70lbs.

Check out the new, heavier duty version. Today is the last day, but you can get 50% off this pack and free shipping if you order it today. I ordered the Traverse X and feel like it is built really well. It's a hell of a deal on a very nice pack. I don't think you could do better for $165 buck. Use Promo code SCOUTLOOK.

Haha, yeah I should have read the whole thread. I really like the Traverse X that I ordered. I haven't used it in the field yet, but I was happy with the build quality and design of the pack. I thought hard about ordering the commander X too, but I just didn't think I would need it. I can't foresee me doing any real deep country pack in trips in the near future. I love the look of it though.

I haven't heard anything bad on the new Kuiu icon pro. The original icon I did tho. I would love a ligature but their a little steep for me.

Ya you definitely don't buy one of these packs unless you are planning on living out of it for a few days.

Thanks for telling about that 50% code! Got my pack in the mail today and went through it all and so far I like it. My 3 year old wanted to get in it because it was so big as she put it. With 30 pounds on my back plus the weight of the pack I barely noticed it on. Will start hiking with weight soon!

It came with a rain cover and a bow/gun boot. Wish it opened like the Kuiu, it has a horseshoe zipper. This one is just a top load but I'll live without that feature. Waist belt and shoulder straps feel very comfortable. The whole thing is very adjustable.

glad it worked out for you. All the credit goes to SKYWALKER who first told me about ALPs a month ago when I was asking about packs. I'm real happy with mine as well. HOpe they have that special again when I'm looking for a larger pack.
