Well I started the morning sitting on the edge of a big clearcut calling and glassing with no avail so I decided I would take a walk up the logging road. I walked about 3/4 of a mile and as I rounded a corner I started hearing limbs breaking. I could see a herd running my way about 200 yards from me. I hurried over to a giant stump and crouched behind it waiting. They litterally crossed the road 10 yards from me and as soon as they crossed they stopped. I stood and drew on the bull at the end of the line. He turned to look at me and the arrow flew. It was only a 15-20 yard shot. Too easy. He ran about 100 ft and went down. About 5 minutes later a couple guys came walking up and asked if I had seen those Elk come through there, apperently they had been chasing them for hours and ran them right to me. Thanks Guys.
