Elk - A Tough Animal

    A buddy shot this elk a few years ago in Idaho, had approx. an eight inch tine stuck through it's skull behind it's eye into the roof of it's mouth. The end of the tine was worn down and the wound healed when it was shot so it's assumed it was from a fight the previous year. Made for a sweet european mount, thought I'd share!

    That is really cool, and man them animals are tougher than hell that is for sure. Cool european mount that makes though.
