Are they run by the guys that left Bowtech or am I thinking of a different company?

Kevin Strother was the head designer for Bowtech, then went to start Elite I believe. The dude really gets around, but knows how to design a bow. He also started Strother, K&K, among others. I think he's working with Obsession Archery now.
He's not involved with Elite anymore, but they make a helluva bow. You thinkin about getting one?

Originally yes, however that was years back and it didn't last long.
It's a story not even worth telling.
In any event they make a really solid hunting bow right now.

That's not 100% accurate. However Pete is the CEO.

Ok, he runs the whole company. Pretty much the owner. If your looking for a job and know him... You would get hired.

So are you going to help Tony out with his questions since you know them or what?

Firstly, Tony's original question was answered. It was then expanded into employment. Secondly, I don't have anything to do with elites or the outdoor groups employment practices, and if I did i surely wouldn't be discussing them someplace like this. Irregardless of any correspondences with Pete...or your smart *** comment.

but you did make it sound as if you and the guy in charge/president/ceo are friends. If that's the case you should be able to help Tony out. Even if it's just a foot in the door.
I wouldn't be so testy if I was you, this is the internet afterall.

Think about what your saying for minute and maybe you would understand were am coming from. Despite any acquaintances or correspondences if I was " friends" with Pete or anyone else at the TOG what kind of friend would recommend someone that they didn't know for a job? If the shoe was on the other foot that certainly would not be something I appreciated.

I understand that, but you make it sound as if you and the guy was friends? No one was asking for you to recomend the guy, but more of a recomendation on where to start or who to talk to.

Thanks for the info, guys...oh, and the entertainment :D

I am just seeing if anyone on here might know the person to contact and maybe even put in a word to just give him an interview. His personality, experience, and work results will speak for themselves.

If anyone can help with a foot in the door, I have a man that will kick *** for them and help them grow as he has done in every company he has ever worked for.

    Thanks! :)
