Well I shot the new elite 32 the other day and I must say that it's a great shooting bow. However I got home and did some info searching on elite bows and lots of people are saying that they are a pain in the aZz to tune and keep tuned. So whats the deal? Is this a common problem with all elite bows or just a certain few? I haven't shot the new mathews yet but if I was to go with elite, I dont want to be buying a problem.
I have tuned a bunch of them. I own three different Elite bows. They tune easy, just as easy as binary cam bow. Each can style has it's own issues, strengths and weaknesses. I have seen them tune up nicely several ways...though paper, walk back bare shaft tuning and also French tuning at close distance. There is a ton of info on tuning Elites out there so you won't ever lack for information. The E32 I played with recently tuned lights out. We had her shooting darts in short order. My buddy loves the bow, he been wearing my phone out with texts about it. I am picking one up a soon as I see a used one at the right price.
Thanks. I just shot a few arrows down range with it and its the smoothest shooting bow I've ever shot. Extremely quite and it didn't move at all after the shot. It's dang sure at the top of my list right now.
I had a hunter for the past 3 seasons and now just bought an Energy 32 2 weeks ago both I had no problems tuning and keeping in tune Dan
I am on my first Elite a 2012 Answer and so far so good. Its a great bow. I have about 1000 arrows through it
