It would have been my first choice. The price tag (incl. the extra coloring) not so much lol

Yeah they are pretty steep. If you check the archery talk classifieds you can find a sweet deal. I just got my 35 new in box for 750

You would like it my fellow Beast hunter!! If you are looking for blazing speed look elsewhere. If you are looking for a bow that draws smoothly, has hardly any vibration at the shot and is very, very quiet then give it a test run.

Shot one the other day, I'm not a speed freak anymore like I used to be. The fact that I can hold the bow back for greater lengths of time without the cam jumping on me is more up my alley now. I love the let off on the Energy, my Z7 creeps a lot and takes a hard solid anchor to keep it still. For hunting..... the energy will be my next rig.

This was my Pulse. Both were awesome bows... wish I still had the pulse to hunt with but I sold it.

Finally got my sight in after a mix up with MBG. This thing shoots like a dream. This is my two arrow group at 60 yards.

We chronographed it before I left the shop. It is shooting 293.
