Im actually looking for more input on the x-treme. I shot one yesterday and it felt really nice. Minimal vibration very quiet. I'm also cosidering the Elite hunter tho I have yet to shoot one. Any opinions on these would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
The two bows your looking at are not even close to being similar. The X2 cam on the HC is a duel yoke cam, its hard up front and then dumps you into a very short valley. It built for one thing only, speed. They will couple this with a short brace height to get the speed out of the cams. You need to good form to shoot a bow like this consistently as there is no room for lapses in form with such an unforgiving bow...... The Elite Hunter is everything that HC is not. It has really long brace height like..7.75, the cams are binary and are slaved together....so they are smooth throughout the draw cycle without that big dump into the valley. The valley is huge so she doesn't want to take off on you if you creep....and speaking of creeping you wont need to as your have the most solid back wall you can get. You will get a lot more speed out of the HC, but the Elite will be more shoot able and forgiving for 98% of the shooters out there. A better comparison is the Elite Hunter to the HC X10 or Eliminator.
