I purchased a used elite hunter 70# a couple years ago,and have never had it on scales before last week. I knew it pulled easy and smooth, and it was maxed out so should have been pulling around 73#. Well, it turns out maxed out, it's only 63#. Seems like my bow got the wrong sticker.
Anybody else ever had this happen?

That's weird but I am sure it happens. If you take the limbs off there will be deflection numbers on the end labeling what weight they really are.

Yea that's what the guys at the shop told me. I'm not really concerned that it's 60pound, I think that's plenty, just that I've been working under the assumption it was 70. I'd never heard of this happening before

Yeah that would throw everything off from the arrows you are shooting to the speeds/ke/me you thought you were putting out.
