What can you tell me about Elite bows? Anybody shooting/hunting with one? I was at a local shop today and was pretty impressed with them. The highest letoff of any of the bows I've pulled lately and a freaking solid wall. Only thing I didn't like was it was a little heavier than most of the newer bows at 4.3 pounds.
Well the Carbon Knight is made by Bowtech, not Elite. :D As for Elite, they're very nice bows. IMO they've very well made, smooth draw, solid back wall and very accurate. You are right that they're a bit heavier than some of the others out there but 1/2 lb never killed anyone. Like everyone always says, shoot as many new bows as you can before making your decision. You may be surprised by some of them. Then make your decision on what felt best to you.
I shot the answer this summer while I was in the market for a new bow and i must say it was pretty awesome. in the ned I went with the Bowtech expierience. To me it was a better all around bow. It made up for the speed the Elite didn't have. But in the end it all comes down to what you like.
