Elevated or Ground

  1. Looking at building a perm hunting blind on some land I have permission to do so. is there any benefit to an elevated blind? is it worth the extra efforts?

Look up wind thermals. Being elevated would help in theory as well as not being in direct line of sight.

I have built 4 elevated hunting towers on my farm. You can see farther, and deer walk right past you just as long as you keep you movements down.

Been hunting deer out of ladder stand for 30 yrs and seen the benefit of being up high off the ground.
