Believe it or not... they're just not the ones you see standing on the corner with a picket sign or expressing their opinions on the idiot box. They are the ones actually doing ministry and yes, I would love to introduce you to some of them.

Funny... maybe not that much difference when motives are self serving.

Yeah, I know this to be true. It just so happens those misrepresenting are always the loudest.

This is sure to be an unpopular view on these boards.

Repubs are definitely alienating voters. Like you said, they would vote for a non republican candidate even if they don't know who it is, they just know he/she is not republican. Repubs are dying almost as fast as democrats are being born. They need to seriously reconsider moving further to the right if they want to win. Things will get worse if they continue using this strategy.

The repubs were gift wrapped an election, and still managed to screw it up. I'm convinced Romney would have won if he went underground after the primary. The more he, and other repubs talked, the more they hurt themselves. Hopefully this is a wake up call so they can put out a decent candidate.

I'm kinda sad that I de-friended or hid all the annoying people on my FB. My feed has been surprisingly boring today.

I had the same problem, being that I hid a lot of "friends". I thought of a handful that would have serious chicken little syndrome last night and this morning. I went to their pages and was not disappointed. Hilarious.

Now that I think about it, it's probably pretty hard to knock out a president after one term. Without a sex scandal or something equally incriminating. Especially with Baracks voting body. I get the arguement that it takes more than one term to acheive all that's promised. I still think Romney could have managed our debt like a champ. Barack doesn't seem to confident in resolving the deficit.

I usually bite my tounge, and stay out of political discussions. They generally never end well.

However, being employed by a company whose #1 customer is the coal industry, this was not the outcome I hoped for. While walking around one of the mines today, everyone was in a very somber mood. For this industry, Obama brings nothing positive. Nothing may actually get worse for us in the next 4 years, but it will not improve.

One of my biggest gripes with Obama supporters (not all, just the uneducated), is that they are truly clueless about anything he stands for other than his free cell phones and what not. I heard a quote off the radio today that was a bit concerning.

"Once the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the Republic"-Benjamin Franklin.

Still a long ways to go until this all pans out, trying not to be a chicken little here.

From all these green industry companies we have given billions to! DUH!

Conservatism, while it is the mindset that could save this country, is dying. Those against it far outnumber them and the discrepancy is only growing.
