Election Day is like having a bad case of diarrhea; before it gets here you know something isn’t right, the closer it gets the worse your gut feeling grows indicating it is going to be bad, and finally, when it gets here it’s just a bunch of crap that you can’t wait for to get through with. Then, as the sun rises on the day after, it’s nothing but a bad memory and you’re glad it’s over.
Vote your conscience and put your focus back to your own life.IMO Unless your going to run for some higher office or start a rally to make some changes, don't waste to much think thinking about it. It takes your focus off YOUR life and what you need to be doing and you'll find the cable 27/7/365 news channels will never stop finding stuff for us to get amp'ed up about. Imagine life in America and what your mind set would have been during the revolutionary war, the civil war, WWI, great depression, WWII or vietnam war. Those must have been very bleak times to live through. Or you can see where things are really great in the world right now and we should be thankful for those who unselfishly gave up their lives so that we live today and fight over such major issues such as Gay marriage, 3rd trimester abortions and rights to get energy form our own country rather than buy it from a hostile one. But that's just me
