Anyone heard of EIC ? Exercise induced collapse? suppose to happen to sporting dogs ... like Labs.. I've Never heard about this until now.. Symptoms are closely related to Hyperthermia and Heat Stroke...
I know when my Vizsla is out running our yard and protecting me from the evil squirrels and rabbits she is usually pretty quick to pass out on the couch when she comes back inside. But No I have never heard of EIC.

Yes, I've heard of it. All REPUTABLE breeders now days will have had their dogs tested for that and other things before they breed them. Here is a link to some dogs that have had the proper tests just so you see what a good breeder does. The dam should also have the same tests when looking for pups.
