Effort to find quality land?

    Here around home in farm land. I hunt my 80 acre gravel pit, my grandpas old farm and about 3 others. Its ok hunting. All pretty smal parcels, the biggest 160 acres. With different winds I hunt different land. When I go up north to the big woods I hunt a 16000 acre game refuge. Open to Archery only.I will spend 3-4 days straight walking and scouting before I ever pull the bow or stand out of the truck. I hunt a different section up there every year. Tons of work and time but man I love hunting big woods.

    Buy my own land:

    Not yet. Hopefully someday.

    Lease land:

    Not right now, but if I found land worth leasing within driving distance I would do it.

    Knock on 1000 doors:

    I've got bloody knuckles.;) You do get numb to "No" after a while so it's no biggie.

    Drive for hours:

    Do it every year and will continue to do it as long as I'm confident it can be productive.
