So, most of you know I switched to left handed a year ago to accommodate my dominate eye. Well, the main benefit of this would be the obvious stronger eye working to aim, while being able to shoot with both eyes open. While, I feel the switch has had a great impact on my shooting quality, I'm still not "benefiting" from shooting with both eyes open. I actually squint my right eye slightly still, because, well, with both eyes open, the pin is either WAYY out of focus, and I drop it out of sight concentrating on the target, or I focus on the pin just as much as I do squinting. Now, I find it's a bit more easy when shooting the black spots on my Morrell bag, but shooting the Vegas face is almost impossible. Now, could this be due to the fact my top pin is yellow? Does the yellow on yellow combo effect my peripheral vision on the pin, causing it to drop out of sight with both eyes open, or am I just still needing to get used to this whole setup?

First of all, I would never shoot a yellow pin. If I had to shoot a pin I guess it would likely be red for spots. Most serios indoor shooters with a bowhunter rig will black the pin out instead.

With that said, you should be looking at the X, not the pin. :d

I know. It's because I flipped my RH site to be used LH, so my bottom pin became the top. Long story short, it comes down to me being a cheap idiot, but it's what I have to work with, so it's what I'm using. Anyways, I guess what I'm saying is, if I burn a hole in that X, I completely lose focus as to where my pin is. I can't keep my find aware of both. When this happens, the pin ends up dropping right off the target (I only know this because I end up hitting really low every time).
