Eco Car meets Tree Branch

I just heard about this on the news and the lady driving the car is lucky to be alive. She is an Art teacher and was driving one of those little clown cars the the eco-friendly types drive around. How she took a tree branch without hitting any major organs is a miracle but her car is totaled.

Damn those people who care about the ecosystem. Too bad the tree didn't kill her!

Is someone who spends time in a coma one year and then is impaled by a tree the next year..... really 'lucky'??

I'd feel unsafe driving around in one of those dink cars... but I'm not entirely sure my 3/4 ton truck would have faired a whole lot better vs. that tree.
