What exactly are you frying them in?

The heart and the liver were always the first things we fried while at our old camp.

It doesn't sound appealing but it honestly looks good and I wouldn't mind trying it someday. What does it look like?

    Hmmm....that's interesting....

Since the flavor is kinda strong, we always just cut the meat thin and fried it. You know with seasoned flour, then bathe in hot oil. Serve it on a hot, buttered biscuit and you got some good eats :tu:

pretty unique consistancy... kinda like moist beef jerkey. i like it, but like all venison can get tough quick if you cook it too long

The heart is one of my favorite parts of the deer.

I remember when I was little waking up the morning after my dad had killed a deer and having eggs and fried deer heart for breakfast. It's good stuff.

By far my favorite part of any animal we kill. I usually coat the heart with Fry Magic and then throw It some grease and or butter with onions also and fry It up.

Damn this made me hungry thinking about It!!
