Sigh, really? Maybe he's comparing it to that because it's the most common(highly marketed) camera hanging system. So we can't say hey this product is a little pricey and frankly something similiar and equally practical can be made for a fraction of the price if said product is a site sponsor?

Good post I gotta try this...I have been looking at different ideas/ways on how to make these myself. If you can save 25 to 30 dollars on this why not..I know most people can't cough up this kind of dough especially when you're running 10 plus cams heck even 5. Thanks for posting!

I guess I'm not seeing the problem but admittedly I have no brand loyalty and am entirely turned off by many of the "must have" products for hunting these days.

To me it's a pretty straight forward comparison/alternative, not a dig. A "dig" or calling a spade could be to question a company selling a stick you strap a camera to for $40. But hey some people pay for convenience and I'm sure they are buying plenty of S&P's. This thread won't hurt them in any way and doesn't discredit their products quality or functionality(is that a word?) but it could help a thrifty hunter save a few $$. Just sayin...

You're right but why put down another person because they come up with a cheaper idea. Is he the forum police?

How is this any different than the entire DIY forum? Yeah, maybe not everyone says an actual companies product they are replicating or comparing in some way (sponsor or not), but they are all homemade ideas from some company or product. Great idea and thanks for posting the video!

There's no need for you to apologize for coming up with a cheaper alternative. Some folks think they own the forum.
