Anyone shorting Easton Injexion arrows? I am thinking about switching from the Beeman ICS Hunters that I currently shoot. I would love to hear opinions or reviews.
One of my close friends shoots these arrows and loves them. He says they are the best arrow he has had to date. I will warn you though. It depends on your poundage. As of right now the stiffest spine they have us 330. And the max poundage is like 65 for that spine. I was going to switch to them but I shoot 70 lbs, and in my opinion it is better to be on the stiffer side than not. I was very disappointed. Sent from my iPhone 5S
I shoot beman ICS Hunter (400) 28 1/2 inch DL. 65# 285 fps. I shoot out to 50 yrds. dead on. Use to shoot St. Epic. Bemans a good bit cheaper, and every one just about carries them. Can't tell much difference bbtween them. Arrows are like bows, pretty much all are good. Some are just more advertised than others. Just curious as why you would want to change.
Some of the guys that own one of our local archery shops have been raving about them. They all claim that all of their shots are now pass throughs. I made a pretty decent shot on a deer last year that didn't pass through. I never found her. I feel horrible about wounding an animal. I have her on camera again and can see the wound that the arrow left. Just trying to improve my percentages for a quick clean kill.
I shoot 27.5 inch 100 grain Injexions out of my 72lb Prime Defy. They fly great and hit hard. You can use Injexions up to 72lbs and 29 inches long according to Easton's chart. Over 29 inches you need a stiffer spine than the 330 Injexions. They are tough arrows that fly like darts. The only downside is you need new broadheads with the deep six insert.
