Anyone shooting the Easton Injexion arrows? I am moving from the FMJ's to them for durability reasons. Just curious if anyone has any experience with them yet.
At least one guy shooting them. For the price, I'm going to hold off a bit. http://forums.bowhunting.com/showthread.php?30984-Easton-Injexion-Deep-Six-Arrows
I just upgraded to fmj's last week because id heard they were tanks! What durability issues did you experience if you don't mind my asking?
I should start off by saying that all the arrows I used before, I never ran them in an arrow roller. Having said that, I was amazed at how many over time (6) that were bent. I am not the most caring individual with my arrows. I tend to keep them in the quiver after a hunt and set them inside my vehicle. I'm sure that they get stuff put on them from time to time, thus bending the arrows. The FMJ's are no doubt the deepest penetrating arrow I have used to date. Great shooting arrow, it's just that I that I have bent a lot of them. I just bought a dozen of the Carbon Injexions and it will be curious to see how they hold up.
i have looked them over they look like nice arrows but in reality im not going to pay almost 300 for a dozen arrows when the fmjs serve me just fine and with the deep six inserts i hear you have ot buy the special head there making for them
That is correct you do have to shoot deep six broadhead, then you are limited on what to choose. Although i am thinking about going to the Deep Six insert, and the Kill zone broadhead on my Easton Axis.
The AC Injexions are running around $300 but the Carbon Injexions are around $150. I can't wait to shoot them.
after paper tuning, I did a walkback tune, atleast I attempted too. I just shot from 15,20,25 yds aiming at the same spot. This was what happened. These arrows feel amazing holding them, I guess just because they are so small. My only gripe (if it can count as one) is holy cow they are a nightmare to pull out of my target. I don't know if its because they are just so small to hold onto, or if its because of deeper penetration. But after about 50 shots i was more tired of pulling arrows from the target then I was from shooting. Once I get all my pins setup I want to do a good review however I'll probably wait till after the 1st of April since that is when the new killzone broadhead is suppose to ship. I'd like to broadhead tune them at the same time to get a better idea of true arrow flight.
