    This year I want to switch to a smaller diameter arrow such as an axis. Looking on the easton website i've seen that easton came out with 2 new smaller diameter arrows. Da Torch and the hexx. After looking both up it looks like the hexx and da torch are the same but da torch has more graphics on it and is 20 dollars more. Has anyone seen ethier of these or knows someone that has? Really interested in trying the hexx.

    I tried calling Easton in regards for a more detailed specs, but I didn't any more information from what I already gathered. They haven't hit the shelves by me yet, but here is what I can tell you.

    This is based soley on 400 spine, but it would apply in relation to your spine requirements;

    Easton Bloodlines 7.7gr, ID .234, OD .292, BAR 7, H nock, HP insert
    Easton Axis 9.0gr, ID .204, OD .264, BAR 4, X nock, HIT insert
    Easton Axis RT 9.8gr, , BAR 4, X nock, HIT insert
    Hexx 7.2gr, , BAR 6, H nock, HP (similar) insert
    DeTorch 7.2gr, , BAR 5, X nock, ?

    So without seeing them all together, in person, to measure them I can tell you that the Hexx is slightly smaller in diamerter than the Bloodlines, but not as thin as the Axis arrows. The DeTorch will slightly thicker than the Axis, but pretty damn close. The Hexx is probably the smallest diameter they could get, but still allow for a redesiged HP insert. The DeTorch will probably use the HIT inserts. I judge this by the size of the BARs that EASTON states goes with each arrow/spine. I hope this helps.

    The Torch has X Nocks with UNI
    The Hexx has H Nocks

    Checked em out yesterday at my shop...7.2 gpi (400) with 2 insert options (9 grain or 23 grain) not much smaller (only 10%) than standard sized shafts such as CX, or Goldtip. I didn't like the factory cresting (black)...I opted for a batch of VAP V1's

    Da Torch also comes with the HP (23 grain insert) versus the ML (9 grain) in the HEXX... the HP (23 grain) insert is an upcharge on the HEXX
