Guys.. I have looking around for Easton Deep Six FMJ shafts only, but almost all the places sell the Deep Six Injection FMJ arrows. Also, when I search on the interwebs about it, that's most of what I find as well for sale. But according to the Easton website, there is a distinct difference between them and I don't want the Injexions, just he Deep Six FMJ shafts only. I'm fairly confused as to what the deal is here with this and if that the case, then I'm probably going to stop looking for them and go with the CE Maxima BLU RZ's. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
Not sure about the Easton issues, but I will tell you that I've been trying out the CE Maxima Blu RZ's this season and they are phenomenal shafts. Got 4 deer this season, all with full penetration and great flight. My last doe was during less than perfect conditions (very windy crosswind) and at 55yards. I would recommend these shafts for hunting any day!
Eagle Archery and Cabelas both have them. I don't know if it is the shaft only. They are called Easton Deep Six XD Shaft. I hope this helps. I think the difference is that one is called XD and the other is Injexion.
I appreciate the answers, I think I found a place to get the shafts from. The Easton Deep Six FMJ is a 4mm arrow, the Deep Six FMJ XD is a 5mm arrow. There is a difference between them.
Try Jerry at South shore archery. IMO best place to get shaft/components/arrows. If he does not have them I bet he would get you some. You could call Easton and get the differences and part number for the shafts you want. South Shore Product InformationCustom Arrows, and Bare Shafts and A Full Line Of Archery Equipment and supplies.
