I was wondering if anyone knows if you are able to take the inserts out of the arrows and maybe get the arrows trimmed down to a different size. Since i am currently shooting a different arrow length

Take the fletching off, cut the back of the arrow and refletch.

This is the easiest and most effective way to do it. You can try heating the inserts and removing them, but more times than not, epoxy is used and this will cause the inner carbons to pull out with the insert, simply cut from the nock side and refletch!!
