    I'm a really big Gold Tip guy. You'll be hard pressed to find a tougher shaft. I will be shooting Velocity Pro 300's again this year after great success with them last year. I shot the Pro Hunters for about 4 years prior. I shot the Easton Axis's for a couple years before that and some Maximas before that. All great arrows but a Gold Tip is hard to beat considering you can get the tightest tolerences possible (.001" straightness and + or - .5 grain on weight) for the money you spend on .0025" straight Carbon Express arrows or .003" Easton Axis arrows.

    Theres alot of good input on here thanks, also over on at alot of people speaking highly of dca arrrows and black eagle arrows anyone tried them.

    Not to highjack the thread but I was just at Bass Pro to pick up some seasoning/curing for jerky and snack sticks for some venison burger I plan on making a mess of and I stopped over to look at arrows. I was [----] this close to buying a 6 pack of FMJs, I was thinking of you SharpEye, I almost pulled the trigger. I know what I'm asking for come birthday time...

    OP: like several others i shot bloodlines for several years and had great results, great arrow.

    So many decisions on arrows, and maybe this will help I'm spot n stalk out west so need something that has good ke for long distances.

    Currently shoot Axis arrows. Would like to try the H3XX to gain higher FOC.
