I am wondering if anyone has tested this new arrows and inserts at all on the penetration and everything that it says it does better then every other arrow. I have been looking at them since last octber/novemberish and they seem like a great idea. but just want to know if anyone has used them or has seen a video on them being tested out and seeing result. they are pretty pricey but im a student with hardley any expenses and a decent job for someone with no expenses so the price is not a huge deal to me :D

I can't speak on the Injexion shafts, but I do have the deep 6 inserts in my new FMJ's. They offer more thread engagement with your broadheads and field points than the previous HIT inserts, so I've yet to have any heads come loose while practicing. NAP also paints their deep six broadheads red which with my setup looks sweet. other than that, an insert is an insert.

I have the killzones and the spitfires. I shot spitfires with great results last year, but am excited to see how the killzones perform.

IMO... I will not be looking at these arrows again until the new propriatry insert is adopted by other arrow & broadhead manufactures. 1. They are very expensive. 2. At this time you have to buy NAP broadheads and the selection is limited. 3. Lack of 125 Gr broadhead availability.

I almost posted the same question/thread before I saw this thread...

Normally, I'm not a jump on the latest bandwagon type of guy, but was reading some stats listed in one of my hunting magazines on them this week... Their numbers seem almost comic book like; 56% more KE at 40 yds, up to 31% increased penetration, 25% less wind drift..... Because of past shoulder injuries I'm only pulling in the low/mid 50's - so an increase even half of what they are talking makes me think twice, especially when I'm hunting larger animals...

Not sure if it's worth abandoning my current gear completely (shooting GoldTips and 3 blade 100 gr muzzys) - especially for antelope or even whitetails, but giving serious consideration trying them on my elk hunt this year.... Want to do some more research though. Like was mentioned, you are limited in your BH options... Shooting 100gr NAP Thunderheads wouldn't bother me though and Easton has enough shafts to choose from - though I certainly agree, not a ton of options to choose from...

In addition to NAP offerings, muzzy has the DX-3 compatible with the deep 6 system
