As of now no, I was waiting for it to emailed to me but I haven't received it yet. We are getting new servers up and running so we should be able to able handle all of the FLOOD of info that is being sent.

If any exhibitors have concerns and need to get in touch with Reed pm me and I can get you phone numbers for all the directors.

Oh a VERY positive note. I think I have the official Mathew's release and it was very differently worded then some of the early FB posts that were floating around...I will cut and paste in below but in any event they clearly states where they stand on the issue and its in our corner. Big thanks to them.

Like many outdoor enthusiasts, Mathews matthews was surprised and concerned to learn that The Eastern Sports & Outdoor Show in Harrisburg, PA was banning many types of guns and accessories from being displayed and sold at the upcoming show in February. We are a proud supporter of our Second Amendment rights—rights that protect all other freedoms. We stand firmly with Americans that have made their voices heard and who choose freedom. Corporately, Mathews doesn’t attend the show and of course will not be in attendance in 2013.

This really is bothersome when you look at it, some foreigners sticking their noses in our politics and think they could pull this on the American sportsmen and shooting enthusiasts.

I would like to know how much money these Europeans cost themselves and their investors by pulling this dumb ****?

I wondered that earlier, but also wondered what the deadline was to reserve a nonrefundable spot. Whether they waited for that deadline to pass before announcing their ban as to minimize their own loss.

I have thought about this a bit as well. You would think that Reed announcing a change from what the vendors originally agreed to that they would have to issue a refund since they changed / broke the signed contract.

I was wondering what Dan was talking about with that quote earlier. I didn't realize there were more than one of these. I haven't left the water cooler for quite some time.

Yeah it is in the "Bowhunting Talk" and then 2 in the watercooler. Anyway, question 1: when would someone have had to pay for the booth, im assuming way in advance, but how long? 2. Im curious to see how or if anything financially is done for compensation.

    Give him a call...
The Firearms Consulting Group on the Boycott Face Book Page this evening.

“None of the vendors should be out their money because of Reed’s decision to change the contractual terms. As I have posted before, if you are a vendor that Reed has refused to refund, please contact my office and I’ll be happy to discuss your options” lawyer

If you are a vendor who pulled out and was told they cannot get a refund, please contact Joshua, if you all band together as we have here to boycott the show, maybe you will see results in returned show costs… It never hurts to try !

Special Thanks to Joshua for his offer, and we hope all of you the best of luck in this next venture. Please contact him using the following information…

Sportsmen's Show Sole Remaining Sponsors: Progressive & Comcast (Boycott Working!!!)
    January 22, 2013 | ConservativeInPA

Posted on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 4:12:19 PM by ConservativeInPA

It looks more and more like Flo from Progressive Insurance will be watching the Bloomberg Network on Comcast by herself at the Eastern Sports and Outdoors Show. This comes after Reed Exhibitions, a UK based company, prohibited the display and sale of certain tactical weapons, high-cap magazines and would not allow vendors to display logos of some American manufacturers that vendors sell.

A boycott of the show by conservative sportsmen and businesses throughout the country continues to gain momentum. The show originally had Cabelas, The Outdoors Channel as sponsors, now the sole remaining sponsors are Progressive Insurance and Comcast - two very liberal companies.

The boycott is all over the news and local radio talk shows in Central PA. A Facebook page for the boycott has gained over 10,000 friends in the last several days. This far surpasses the Show's official Facebook page.

Nearly all guest speakers and celebs have boycotted the show, causing the promoter to change their website graphics at the last minute to basically look barren.

This is a huge win for thousands of conservatives working behind the scenes make the boycott work to protect our 2nd Amendment rights.

 This gets more entertaining by the day. Loving how everyone banded together so quickly to support this cause. By the end of the week, at the current rate, there could be 500 vendors boycotting. Thats almost half the show.

My buddy and I were planning on spending a lot of time talking with outfitters this year. I wonder what the stance of most of them is right now? I'd imagine this show was a big money maker for them. If half the show is missing and the crowd is predicted to be down significantly, it probably wouldn't benefit them to come.

Here's another odd thing, I didn't realize Reed was working the SHOT show last week in Vegas someone on another forum pointed it out, I thought it was all NSSF. Wonder who or what changed their mind?

"The SHOT Show, owned and sponsored by the National Sport Shooting Foundation, attracted a record overall attendance of 62,371, including a new high for buyers and more than 2,000 media representatives."

"The show, produced by Reed Exhibitions, received high marks from attendees and exhibitors alike."

It may hit a point of negative returns for outfitters....and the lessor of the two losses is staying away from the show. The industry is doing there parts and now it up to the sportsman to stay away.

I can really see a decent law suit as once damages are tally up, Reeds decisions are hurting the vendors big time...and a breach of contract suit is already being put on the table. Damages will be easy to calculate as vendors will have number from past years show sales.

On another note!!! Buy a WARM BAG they are running the show special on their website..They are the cats ***.!!!

NRA Withdraws from Eastern Sports & Outdoors Show Due to Reed Exhibitions Decision to Ban Modern Sporting Rifles

Due to Reed Exhibitions' refusal to reconsider their decision to ban Modern Sporting Rifles from the February 2-10 Eastern Sports Show in Harrisburg, PA, the National Rifle Association has decided to withdraw from the show. We had called on Reed Exhibitions to reconsider their decision; unfortunately they have steadfastly refused to do so. As a result, the NRA will not be participating in the upcoming show in Harrisburg or in any other shows hosted by Reed Exhibitions that maintain this policy. We are disappointed that Reed Exhibitions has ignored the concerns expressed by attendees, the outdoor industry and the NRA in not reconsidering their position to ban the display of Modern Sporting Rifles.
