Didnt care to give any reasoning or rational, either in agreement or in even apposed to the boycott that can represent why he is there...what kind of answer you think you would get? How about this " I already paid and I cant afford to miss it, sorry the what the show did and I am not in agreement with the shows decision" do you really think my answer would have been the same? I think the whole point o this is that you are not the ESOS police and nobody owes you an explanation as to why they are or are not attending. Because it is a hunting show, I genuinely believe that the people that arent backing out have a legitimately strong business reason they are attending. Wicked makes the best tree saws there are, for DEER HUNTERS. Unfortunately not everyone is in a position to where they can back out. If they cant put food on the table and pay for a place to live, it would be incredibly irresponsible to put their family in that jeopardy.
Many, many people face hardship as a result of their business decisions. Sometimes to the point of not having food on their table. What do they do? They deal with it and learn from their mistakes. Putting all your eggs in one basket such as depending on a single sports show to be able to make ends meet is a huge mistake. This is what fuels growth. I am glad that the people pulling out are standing up for their rights (everyone's actually).

Reed Exhibitions has decided to postpone, for now, the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show given the controversy surrounding its decision to limit the sale or display of modern sporting rifles (also called ARs) at the event. The show was scheduled to take place February 2-10 in Harrisburg, PA. “Our original decision not to include certain products in the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show this year was made in order to preserve the event’s historical focus on the hunting and fishing traditions enjoyed by American families,” said Chet Burchett, Reed Exhibitions President for the Americas. “In the current climate, we felt that the presence of MSRs would distract from the theme of hunting and fishing, disrupting the broader experience of our guests. This was intended simply as a product decision, of the type event organizers need to make every day. “It has become very clear to us after speaking with our customers that the event could not be held because the atmosphere of this year’s show would not be conducive to an event that is designed to provide family enjoyment. It is unfortunate that in the current emotionally charged atmosphere this celebratory event has become overshadowed by a decision that directly affected a small percentage of more than 1,000 exhibits showcasing products and services for those interested in hunting and fishing. “ESS has long been proud to participate in the preservation and promotion of hunting and fishing traditions, and we hope that as the national debate clarifies, we will have an opportunity to consider rescheduling the event when the time is right to focus on the themes it celebrates.”

You will need to follow their procedures. Honestly I am interested in how long the refund process will take. I do not think it will be quick.
Might be quicker then you think, the ink on the law suits wasn't dry before this was announced. I think should be reasonable process its amazing how fast things happen when your tring to avoid litigation.
This sucks for all vendors, not just the ones who stepped away with nothing to loose. We all lost sales plus booth costs. Hell, they've had my money for 9 months now! What a mess...
