Lancaster Archery, Stokerized, and now Cabela's ...all dropping out of the show down in Harrisburg. I Usally make the trip every year but I won't support the show. It's all or nothing in this fight and in the end they aren't stoping at "assault weapons" ..hats off to the companies that are standing with us. Contact them and let them know you appreciate their support
Ralph and Vicki Cianciarulo Archers Choice just announced they would be dropping out on their Facebook page. Also said Fred and Michele Eichler, Fulldraw Outfitters, Easton Bowhunting TV and Predator Nation TV had also pulled out. All pending a change in Reed Exhibitors policy statement.

Found it in the other thread... thanks Has anything changed on their tactical gear ban at the show? I was gonna try and make the trip down there but seen on Facebook that they will not allow any tactical gear to be on display or sold there. Pretty upsetting if you ask me, that a sports show would do that to sportsmen. Not sure if its the show or the venue that came up with that, and Facebook isn't the most reliable source lol.
Even if they change their position on allowing these guns everyone should ban the show since the only reason they would be doing it is to protect their investment. Companies need to see what will and can happen to them if they go against our rights!
I agree, while it is too far for me to even think of attending, it is still insulting. I can envision DlCKS Sporting goods signing up to the event now. Has anyone heard if they started selling them in their stores again? Here's the email I've been sending remaining exhibitors. Didn't proofread it so punctuations are lacking. Ugh I am writing in hopes of seeing you join the list of celebrities, outdoorsmen and sponsors who are standing together to show Reeds Expos and the Eastern Sports and Outdoors Expo that their choice to ban certain styles of firearms is unacceptable. In a time when our second amendment right is being attacked, an event as large as this one siding with the anti gun regime is a slap in the face to our nation. I sincerely hope to see your name added to the group.
HSS just cancelled too...Lots of people say its about statements and I agree industry like ours that stays together and fights for our rights and freedoms politicians see that hurting their wallets too....What bigger statement can we make to scum bag politicians that want to take away our freedom then Fighting with words, fighting with money and fighting with our arms.
The lakoskys jus released a statement saying they won't attend and won't support any show that partially supports the 2nd amendment. Its on their facebook page.
The Keefer brothers posted on their facebook page this morning saying they will not be going either. It feels real good to see all these people/companies standing up like this.
You can add Bowhunting.com to that list as well. Todd made the call last night - we're out. Time to start looking for other shows to go to this spring....
Justin theres a nice show in Erie, PA coming up in a month or so, I'll see what I can find. I'm not going either!
