eastern new york

Just wondering if anyone hunting in eastern newyork have seen any buck movement or what they have been seeing latley. I've seen some but not a lot mostly doe.

 

haven't bee out a lot, 4 eves, 2 mornings...no big ones but several 4-8 pointers

 

Good movement late last week, been seeing nothing since. In about a week it should bust out.

 

Otsego County, Bucks are cruising mid-day.

 

was out sunday, saw 3 in the morning 3 different bucks in the afternoon- in a different area...no real sign of hot and heavy but seems like any minute

 

Rain coming through tomorrow followed by colder weather. This weekend is shaping up to be the time to put in dark to dark sits!

 

I have only seen does this year so far...not even a spike. I do have trail cam pics that show they are really starting to cruise now though.

 

AT where do you hunt near NYC? After this rain today it should really pick up.

 

I hunt Ulster county but I have hunted LI before. Im hoping it will improve this weekend but opening weekend should be great with the 3 days of snow before.

 

I am in Albany … activity on the cam increased but mostly at night

 

i am planning on that this weekend finally have time enough to sit dark to dark i think it may be good with the cold coming in tonight.

 

i have only seen doe as well trail cam pics stopped catching bucks about a month ago. not even any at night either.
