So far, so good. Just one tree top down so far and it didn't hit anything. We have been hearing trees snap off back in the woods though. Lots of water.
That's good to hear, Bruce. I've been thinking about you folks who are in the path of this thing. I hope that you're all doing okay...... even Tony. :D
We are getting hit, but NOTHING like Bruce ... I am not the East Coast, Johnny.... NYC is getting.g blasted .... that's 7 hours east of me Praying for all you guys in the storms path!
You know how it is down south, Tony. You come down here and say you're from New York and it doesn't matter if your from NYC or not - you're still lucky to make it out alive.
A couple of 3000w gens. One honda which is nice a quiet and a briggs and stratton which is a bit loud. we also have quite a few 10, 12, 14 gauge extensions. With 3 freezers that get full and one refrig we can't afford to let them "defrost". That would cost us our meat that is supposed to last a year.
Told ya.... I need to get a few.. my freezers have all sorts of stuff in them for Jan's pie business and of course my venison, sauce, veggies, etc ... its a write off for me for the business .... there should be some good deals in a week...
It's really not that bad in the Albany area. Maybe 30-35mph winds earlier just about rush hour on the way home. It's mostly died down now though. Hoping it doesn't kick back up later......if it does I've got the generator already tuned and fueled up.
I run expedited freight back and forth along the east coast. Not much freight moving today. I bet its gunna be really busy after its all over with...
Well if you need help, let me know, your wife will need someone to cuddle when your gone. I am here to help
