Earth Quake and Tornados

    Last week we had a tornado comfirmed but not touching down and today we had a 3.6 earthquake. Strange happenings for this part of the country.

    Nah.... they've had those quakes there before when Iived there. I felt that big one they had in Canada a few weeks ago here at my house. My first thought when the sofa I was on starting shaking was..... damn, I got to cut back on the Jack. LOL

    Yes David I know but it is a rare one of 3.6 magnitude as this clipit from Google:

    It was one of the strongest quakes centered in Maryland since European settlement. An earthquake in Annapolis in 1758 has been estimated, from eyewitness accounts, at magnitude 3.5, said Jeffrey Halka, acting director of the Maryland Geological Survey. A 1939 quake centered in Phoenix in Baltimore County has been estimated at magnitude 3.5 to 3.7.

    I think the "Too Sue Me" attitude will take them out before the tsunami.
