Here in Northern Indiana, for the past 2 weeks, every morning has been in the 50 degree range already. Small game have already begun gathering food. Is this a sign of a fast approaching winter and a cold bow season? Will thhis also mean an earlier rut? I hope so!!

I dunno about Indiana but out here in Minnesota things are about normal for fall. It's not weird to have 50 degree mornings and nights but still hit the 80s or 90s by midday. When it starts getting to the point where those midday temperatures start dropping below the 60 degree mark then it will be starting to get into winter.

I am hoping for a cold bowhunting season, but that's just cause I'm built like a polar bear.
