I would tend to agree. Up north activity is the same no matter time. I am in a stand whenever I can be. But I don't hunt certain locations until different times of season.

I hunt mornings in Pa, killed a couple good ones early season in the am. I try to get out when I can but I got access to some smaller props that I been getting some awesome bucks in, I’m reluctant to hunt there early season mornings just bc I’m not sure where they’ll be when I go to enter and don’t want to bust em outa there.

Y’all stay home mornings in October, more opportunities for me.
Not hunting is the stupidest thing I’ve heard in a long time. Killed some nice bucks in October in the mornings. I’ll be out there in a couple weeks morning and evening. Hunt the food and bedding area edges, water if it’s hot and dry. All day sits start in November if not earlier.
One thing I can tell you for sure, you can’t kill’em if you’re not out there.

That's my experience. Anymore I've got to go when I get the chance. If it's warm and I'm hunting mornings I'll get in the stand a few hours before shooting light. Many mornings I've had deer directly under me an hour to half hour before shooting light that I would have bumped if I had gone to the stand later. It doesn't matter if your hunting mornings or evenings you just have to put some thought into when and how you go in.
