You can start it anytime. I like to do mine now so I can get the bucks up and moving during daylight hours. The Magnum scrape dripper only works during the day so it emulates a buck freshening the scrape during the day. I also start it this early because the bucks are starting to come out of velvet and will become more territorial.

I hung two WR Magnum Drippers yesterday. Now is a good time to start since bucks are beginning to disperse. The dripper packs either come with Golden scrape or Active scrape. If your going to set one up now, dont get one with the Golden scrape since does obviously aren't in estrus yet. Towards the beginning of November I pour any type of Estrus urine in the dripper and I've had great success with it.
