I started 3 scrapes on a piece this past July 30th that I have here in Wisconsin and ive had hits on all 3 and finally got 1 of the guys on cam visiting a scrape right near my stand.
The 2nd pic as you can see he is checking out the branch I have been squirting with Pre-orbital gland scent.

I actually saw a scrape last weekend. It was along a 2 track where I see several of them each year, but this is pretty early.

Great idea, I never thought of making a mock scrape in front of my cameras.

I got the idea from one of JZ's BHC videos to use Kishels 3 pack scent kit. I also bought some buck and doe urine and what I did was rotate the buck urine on the different scrapes at different
times. As for the doe urine I also used that on all 3 scrapes. Now I will not visit this piece of property until the bow season starts here in Wisconsin Sep 18th.

I do need to get my butt in gear and give Buck Fever Synthetics a try and I know Schulzty and Shed (Troy) use this scent with great success.
I have never used a Synthietic but I am going to give it a go.
