    Bow season opened up here on this last saturday. No luck so far in fact a couple of blown stalks, but going back out on Thursday to see what happens. Hoping to get some blood on the new Destroyer!

    When is the opener everywhere else?

    Yeah about 2 hours north of San Francisco. The only bad part is the heat.

    WOW, open already? Out of curiosity when does your season close? Here in GA we open on Sept. 11 and close on Jan 1st, 15th or 31st (depending on the part of the state).

    That's crazy. I'm just starting to get in the mind set to get the bow out and start practicing pretty hard and heavy. Having to choose between going to the lake or bowhunting seems a little weird to me.

    August 1st for deer but I won't go out until at least the 15th since the racks are still developing even then. By Sept. 1st they're pretty hard.
