What are your thoughts on this ?Dynamic Brace Height - PSE Dream Season Decree and Mathews No-Cam (Experience Performance Video #2) - YouTube
Definitely makes sense. That's why PSE makes a lot of 6 inch brace height bows anymore. Their limbs are so loaded it makes the string really tight hence it doesn't get as close to the hand upon release. They can get away with a shorter brace because of this which also makes the bow faster. I shoot a PSE DNA which has a 6 inch brace. Its very accurate and does not feel or shoot like some short brace bows I've shot in the past. I haven't had any problems with string slap either, even with bulky clothes on. Now that I think about it Bowtech kinda makes their bows with the preloaded limbs the same way PSE does.I would love to see a slow mo video comparing the two.
Like stickthrower mentioned - check out the measurement guide behind the bows and how offset they are when they shoot the measurement. dont think it is a fair comparsion
