So, since I brought up the painting subject, now another. I've been checking around still, and now a few places have told me that they will no longer do anything to limbs, since it's been found that it can effect limbs. Has anyone else encountered this? What was told to me by one shop was they no longer do it because of warranty problems. A few people broke/cracked limbs, which were treated somehow aftermarket, and now the manufacturer will not replace them with warranty because of the coating. Who knows if the coating was really the problem, but none the less the warranty was void.
I know there are people on this forum who do this for a living, that is custom bow treatments. Has anyone else come across this or is it just me? Problem is if that's the case, I'm gonna have a hard time matching what I got.
Thanks in advance if anyone has good info.
