You crack me up Joe. I don't care what people make. More power to anyone on the money they can make. With Germ It seems he always has the answers. Maybe the guy should run for president.
With north Americas huge reserves of natural gas it make no sense what so ever to drive an electric car, but even if you choose to drive one the coal & natural gas burned to produce the electric comes from fellow Americans, good Job!
I do, I own my software development company. My question would be why do employees feel the need to join one? My company I work for has been in business for 60 years in the heart of union country, yet not one sniff of a union. Why?
No I just look at it from a different view. It has been stated unions ruin companies, bad management does not? Why is it so easy to beat up on one segment and not look at others? Why not look at the big picture? Steve like I said before there is a huge difference between private business owner and CEO running a public company. I have worked for both and I will work for the owner every time. I have nothing but respect for owners.
The difference being no one in management purposely tries to harm the company, that would only harm themselves, yet unions brag about the many ways they have at hand to bring that same company to its knees. Then after the pillaging is done they pretend to all be company men and bust their azzes for the man. Thats just Bull****. There are both good and bad managers, but I can't see good in any union activity that I've been a part of.
Unions seem like affirmative action for people that don't want to take responsibility for themselves. I could never imagine not being paid on my own work rather than the work of my union as a whole.
You bet bad management ruins company's. I know of many self employed outfits that closed their doors because of their stupidity. What pisses me off Is when a big group (union) try's ganging up on the company when they have no right In doing so. When they don't get their way they act like criminals and cry like a bunch of baby's. In most people's eye's the owner of the company has It made and he/she makes all sorts of money. If owning a company was so damn easy then why Isn't everyone else doing It? Why don't they? They (non union and union) would rather ***** and complain and say how tough they got It. The fact Is the non union employee can't make life miserable for a successful well run company for the most part. Some union's on the other hand can and will make life suck for a successful and fair business owner. That last part bugs the **** out of me.
Me too Steve on the last part, what bugs the **** out of me is when they dish out bonus and then ask the rank and file to sacrifice for the company.
