I intend to get an assault Lone Wolf before next season and I am intending to make the purchase here at BH.com. (Unless of course Sportsmansguide sells them again for 119.97 bucks. (:bash: Damn I wish I had seen that before they sold out)

I did just get 2 sets of 20' climbing sticks from them for 31bucks a piece....but any way here is my question....Do you paint the Wolf or leave it the original color ?

I have left them the original color and they seem to work just fine but, this year, I plan to add a little bit of paint, some black, to help them blend in with the tree trunk a little more. I may add some brown and/or green but am undecided on that yet. I just have this idea of how I want to add the black and we'll see how it goes from there. I am going to paint and then hang the stand and look at it from underneath to see if the paint is having the effect I want. We'll see.

I'd leave em alone, the cast aluminum looks too cool and blends in with the grey sky.....the only reason I'd ever paint a stand in camo colors is to hide it better from another hunter so he doesnt see it to steal it :ninja: ....the deer notice us waaaay before they notice a stand like that.

    Agree'd.
    Deer don't notice stands.

They walk under them. Or sleep under them if you are me.

I left my Wolf alone, no paint here.
