IMO the best rivalry in college sports (maybe sports in general). They square off tonight at UNC! I hope I can make it through the game. Been up since 4:00 finishing miles of drywall . I'm sure Mr. Miller will be tuning in. Should be a good one as always. I'm sure the Dukies will downplay (yet again) their team and how they aren't that good blah blah blah. But it always gives fans and viewers their moneys worth. DUCK FUKE.... Let's go Tarheels.
Go Heels! UNC should win this one. Their front line is the best in the country, it's a home game, Duke is soft and can't play D, Curry and Dawkins start pouting when they aren't hitting. I think UNC wins 80ish-70ish.
I'm a Duke fan but think UNC will win easy, Dukes bigs are average at best. College basketball as a whole is pretty weak talent wise this year IMO.
I will tune in.... but hope I make it through the game so I don't have to cancel the appointment with a new cardiologist tomorrow. Yes... I will down play Dukes abilities this year. They don't have a goto guy and they don't play defense worth a crap. They don't play team ball either. It's all "ME BALL" most of the time. They'll lose a lot this year unless a miracle happens and they figure out it's a team game. UNC by 20.
Duke is garbage this year. I expect a 15+ point win by UNC if they play like they are capable of...but a road trip to Florida earlier this year proved they don't always do that. I still think UNC ends up a one seed, but a championship team has NEVER been beat that bad, ever. But best front line in the country? lol that has already been disproven in Lexington this year. Barnes Henson and Zeller have already come up short to Kidd Gilchrist, Jones, and Davis.
People always forget what tyoes of athletes/players Duke has on it's roster. Any given night they can shoot the lights out and win against anyone.
Spot on as always Tembry. Thats the first thing I thought of after that game. You simply can't get beat that bad and expect to go far let alone win the NC. Lose? Yeah, it happens. To get beat like that and flat out give up? Problems. It appears Dukes gameplan is to cross half court and let the first 3 point fly that presents itself. As in typical Duke fashion, it is working for them. UNC is killing Duke aside from the 3 pointer. Looks like men against boys in the paint. If the threes start clanking instead of falling it's lights out. If the sun still shines on Dukes asses it will be a game. Would help of course if UNC had some perimeter defense.

Wow what a game for a non existent freshman thus far to come out of his shell. Rivers going for 29 60% from Threeland can't be predicted, but I'll be the first to eat crow. Love watching either of these teams lose, so this game holds a special place in my heart. haha Amazing game.
Exactly what I was thinking. Why are you giving him ground when the entire planet knows he's going to shoot a three? They only shot 417 of them until that point. Unreal. UNC is the most talented/underachieving team there is. Zellar should have been able to smell his deodarant on that last play.
